The Greers Ferry Area Chamber of

Greers Ferry Lake. With the new
Devils Fork Fishing Tournament
Facility located in Greers Ferry we
now have much more to offer in
conveniences to your organization.

On Site
Building-
A great place to hold
your registration and
meeting is a 30’ x 40’
building with a covered
porch extending the
total length under a
roof to 42’ x 52’ in
which you may hold a
meeting, handle
registration or any
activity necessary to
hold a well organized
event.
Holding
Tanks
- The facility includes
temperature-controlled,
intensely aerated
holding tanks to
stabilize fish before
release back to the
lake.
Launching
- Devils Fork’s
launching areas are
capable of handling 12
boats at one time. If
needed for additional
launching, Hill Creek
Park about 10 minutes by
water has 4 launch lanes
and 140 parking spaces.
Boat
Landing & Tournament
Beach Area
- The tournament boat
landing is a sandy area
approximately, 100 yards
in length.
Staging
Area
- Provided for your
convenience a staging
area is set up with
plenty of power supply,
including 220 volt
service.
Parking
- Currently there is
parking in the immediate
area for 200 truck and
trailer spaces. The
park has additional
parking, including
spectator parking.
Pairing
Facility
– We can make
arrangements for you to
use the local school
gym.

The City of Greers Ferry is at a
part of Greers Ferry Lake known as
“the Narrows,” a popular gathering
spot for visitors because of its
convenient access to lake fishing
and charming accommodations.
We have several resorts, motels,
cabins and bed & breakfast, a few
have lakefront accommodations. We
also have several U.S. Army Corps of
Engineer Campgrounds with
electricity for those that like to
camp.
The ever growing community of Greers
Ferry offers several types of
dining, fast food, seafood buffet,
steaks, barbecue as well as grocery
stores to satisfy your hungry group.

Within the city limits, we have a
variety of retail stores, banks,
churches, auto service, boat
service/repair/parts, beauty shops,
florist, crafts, health care,
insurance offices, real estate
offices, pharmacy, service stations
and a myriad of professional
services.
Located in north central Arkansas we
are a nice friendly little town with
a big heart. A great place to be is
Greers Ferry, Arkansas. The cities
of Clinton and Heber Springs are
just 30 minutes from Greers Ferry,
approximately 45 miles is Conway,
AR.
Greers Ferry Lake = World Class
Fishing
Greers Ferry Lake is a
50 mile long, 31,500
acre lake with a 276
mile shoreline. Fed by
the Little Red River the
elevation of the lake at
top flood control pool
is 487 feet above sea
level.
Greers Ferry Lake
is one of the most
pollution-free lakes in
the nation providing an
excellent water
playground for
fishermen, water skiers,
scuba divers, and anyone
seeking fun in the sun.
As the seventh tourist
destination point in
Arkansas, the lake is
dotted with first-rate
marinas and boat docks,
over 1,200 public and
private camp sites, and
a good selection of
resort facilities,
motel, cabins, and bed &
breakfast.
The Devils Fork Fishing
Tournament center is
located in the city of
Greers Ferry, which is
approximately 75 miles
north of Little Rock in
the foothills of the
Ozarks. The city of
Greers Ferry is located
at the long narrow strip
of the lake.
People come from near and far to
experience the fishing of Greers
Ferry Lake. The lake has been
stocked with every kind of fish
native to Arkansas. Recently, the
Arkansas Democrat Sports Section
ranked Greers Ferry Lake as #4 in
the state for the best bass fishing.
Greers Ferry Lake offers great
walleye and crappie fishing. In fact
every game fish native to the state
has been stocked in the clear waters
of the lake by Arkansas Game and
Fish Commission. In the summer of
1997 the world record hybrid bass
was caught in Greers Ferry Lake,
weighing in at 27.5 pounds. The
world record walleye (22.11) was
caught here as well.
The lake supports healthy
populations of black basses
(largemouth, smallmouth and
spotted), bream, crappie, catfish,
walleye, white bass and hybrid,
striped bass.
Whether you fish every day, once a
month or once a year, Greers Ferry
provides angling excitement all year
long. A large fish population can
mainly be found from September thru
May.
